Matt Hawrilenko Plays MRCall912 at FullTiltPoker.net

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

Matt Hawrilenko ($41,233.65) played heads up against mrcall912 ($18,733.35) at the Hollow (6-max) table at FullTiltPoker.net. The table is a $500/$1000 HEROES game. With most heads up games their was a ton of hands per hour and when I started watching the average pot size was $2368. After watching the heads up match for about 20 hands a new player cmynutssat down with $10k.

One of the larger hands played was between all Mrcall12 and cmynuts. Mrcall912 raised to $1k and cmynuts re-raised to $1,500 which was called. The flop was [Js 3c Kc] and cmynuts bet $500 and was raised to $1000 by mrcall912 and then another re-raise from the players and it ended up at $2000. The turn was a [6d] and both players check, the river was a [Ts] and cmynuts bet $1k which was called by mrcall912. cmynuts then showed an Ace high straight and won the pot worth $9,499.

After watching for about 100 hands the chip counts were:

Matt Hawrilenko ($45,875.90)
mrcall912 ($13,472.10)
cmynuts ($10,594.50

Matt Hawrilenko, PixKim and Eli Elezra Play HORSE

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

Matt Hawrilenko ($1,733.70), PixKim ($19,850) and Eli Elezra ($26,651.75) played $500/$1000 HORSE. They played at the Bluff (6 max) table at FullTiltPoker.net. Also playing at the poker table was bixiu ($57,372.15) and DIN_FRU ($59,998.10).

Although the blinds were high the game wasn’t as high stakes as you would guess (or at least what I would expect). The average hand played at the table was $6203…which doesn’t seem to low but most of the hands were in the 3-4k with a couple in the $10k range. The largest hand I saw played was $13,998.

There weren’t very many exciting hands to talk about because of the hands not going very far. There were lots of checks or minimum bets. We needed a maniac at the table to get some money in the middle…One of the hands that I talked about previously was the $13,998 hand. It was won by PixKim against DIN_FRU. This hand had both players betting and raising. In the end, after all the betting DIN_FRU folded after the river after betting $1k and then being raised another $1k by PixKim which finally convinced DIN_FRU to lay the hand down.

At the end of about 60 hands the chip counts were:

  • Eli Elezra ($13,108.25)
  • PixKim ($54,800.95)
  • Matt Hawrilenko ($10,892.65)
  • bixiu ($14,998)

Phil Ivey Plays Matt Harilenko at FullTilt

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Phil Ivey ($353,832) played against Matt Hawrilenko ($65,992.50) at the $2000/$4000 Limit Hold’em table at FullTilt. They played at Hawrilenko’s table which is a heads up table.

This was one of the fastest games I have ever watched. They was not much waiting (thinking) during the game and at times just watching was hard because it seemed like they were playing at least 300+ hands per hour. You would be watching one hand, look away, and all of the sudden there is a new flop and a couple bets.

I started watching pretty late in the game since Ivey had $300k while Matt Hawrilenko only had $65k. The first 15 hands I watched Matt went down to $20k but then won a streak of hands and over the course of about 10 hands and about 10 seconds (well, not that fast….) and all of the sudden had a respectiable $131k.

Well it didn’t last long until Phil Ivey was able to tip the game back to his control. After about 50 more hands Matt Harilenko went broke at the table. When he finally lost his chips he said “alright, you’re officially cut off for a while”, “gg” and Phil Ivey replied “thx”, “best of luck” and Matt Hawrilenko left by saying “ty, u2″.

At the end Phil ivey left with $418k.
