Durrrr, Benyamine Play Limit Omaha Hi

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

Durrrr ($16,037), David Benyamine ($111,160) played $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Hi at Full Tilt.com. Later in the game ArmenH1 joined the table.

The third hand I watched was a good one with the board showing [8d 2d 8s 8c 7c]. Durrr played the board and had three of a kind eights while David Benyamine had a full house eights and pocket kings. Durrrr was committed to the hand and went all-in which was called by David Benyamine who raked in the pot worth $33,273.50.

Another big hand was when Durrrr had a full house, Eights full of Sevens while David Benyamine had a full house, Twos full of Eights. Durrrr raked in the pot worth $32,398.50. There were a couple other hands in the teens but nothing as exciting as the two hands I talked about.
Durrrr had a solid run in the next 40 or so hands and when the table ended the chip stacks were:

  • Durrrr ($36,994)
  • David Benyamine ($121,192)

Gus Hansen, David Benyamine and Patrik Antonius Play HORSE

Monday, June 9th, 2008

Gus Hansen ($21,400), David Benyamine ($17,094) and Patrik Antonius ($35,419) played $1000/$2000 HORSE at the ELK (6 max) table at FullTiltPoker.net.

With three players at the table the action was flying. There was lots of pre-flop betting and some large 3 way pots. One of the hands that was interesting was a Limit Stud H/L hand that was constantly raised then re-raised until the pot ended up being $57,600. It was 3 way action but was a two way split with Benyamine winning the Low with a pair of 8′s while Patrik Antonius took the high with a flush. This meant that both players basically split Gus Hansens (he mucked at the end) chips.

Well I wasn’t able to watch for too long because 45 hands after sitting down to watch Hansen and Antonius sat out. At that point the chip counts were:

David Benyamine ($32,682)
Patrik Antonius ($61,212)
Gus Hansen ($0), is sitting out

David Singer and David Benyamine play HORSE

Friday, May 30th, 2008

David Singer ($7,642) and David Benyamine ($58,884) played $1000/$2000 HORSE along with La Key U ($75,791), LoLiNa ($25,798.50), Eli Elezra ($27,486.50), ICallSoWhat ($44,307). The table was Eli Elezra (6 max) at full tilt poker.net.

There were alot of hands that were around $15k and not past the flop. There was a few $20k+ hands and one hand that was $30k+ but nothing about that.

Sorry, this is a short post but I am getting ready to go to Las Vegas tomorrow and go see the start of the WSOP Event #2 ($1500 dollar buy-in event)…So this will just be a quick update about the game.

After about 50 hands the chip counts were:

  • LoLiNa ($42,331.25)
  • Eli Elezra ($44,599.25)

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

Gus Hansen ($16,838.25) played $1000/$2000 HORSE against SteveSung ($50,479.75), Brian Hastings ($86,200), David Benyamine ($65,379.50), Nick Schulman ($40,000) and Okada Roll ($53,088.50). The full tilt.com table was ELK (6 max) with an ante of $200.

It was a pretty fun table to watching with most of the hands in the high teens. One of the first hands I watched was a hand between Nick Schulman and Gus Hansen. Schulman won the hand with two pairs (eights and sevens) against Gus Hansens pair of threes. The hand was worth $37,000.

Later on their was another hand between Nick Schulman and Gus Hansen. Nick Schulman ended up winning again with three of a kind eights. Gus Hansen mucked his cards but lost the $22,997 pot.

After about 60 hands the chip counts were:

  • SteveSung ($61,503.25)
  • Brian Hastings ($84,484.50)

Phil Ivey and David Benyamine Play at the Ivey Glue Factory

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

Phil Ivey ($180,572.15) played against David Benyamine ($131,393.85) in the $2000/$4000 HORSE table at Full Tilt.com known as the Ivey Glue Factory. I haven’t seen Ivey sit down at one of his poker tables for awhile so I was happy to see some high stakes action.

They didn’t disappoint and the first hand I watched was worth $36,599.50. Phil Ivey won the hand with a 7 high straight. David Benyamine mucked his hand so unable to know what Ivey was up against.

There were a lot of $30k+ hands but not much above that. At the end of every hand the loser mucked so I am not able to really talk about the hands because its pointless not knowing what the player had that lost. But definitely some good poker action, regardless.

I was able to watch 50 hands before Phil Ivey sat out, at that point the chip count was:

  • Phil Ivey ($159,767.65)
  • David Benyamine ($152,189.35)

Gus Hansen, David Benyamine Play Pot Limit Omaha Hi

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

Gus Hansen ($18,794) and David Benyamine ($71,641.50) played $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Hi against LoLiNa ($10,198), Urindanger ($37,286), the guru 11 ($83,321), Cole South ($92,092). They played at the Full Tilt.com table “Brookview” a 6 max table.

The first full hand that I watched was a good one with LoLina winning a $20,794 pot. Urindanger got a 10 on the river giving him two pair but to no avail. LoLina was dealt pocket aces but had no need for them once the board showed 3, 6, 4 giving her a straight.

The game was a fun one to watch with a good amount of high stakes hands with the very next hand a $39k pot that Gus Hansen won. It got much more exciting when after two hands Cole South went all-in for $76k in addition to the $7k he already had in the pot. It was called by David Benyamine. The hand ended up being worth $132,680 with Benyamine winning with full house, Queens full of Twos against Cole South’s full house, Twos full of Fours.

The table basically broke up after about 35 hands…the chip totals were:

  • David Benyamine ($102,374)
  • LoLiNa ($14,892)
  • Gus Hansen ($65,267)
  • Urindanger ($41,791)

David Benyamine, Durrrr and ICallSoWhat Play Omaha

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

David Benyamine ($108,372.50), durrrr ($18,295) and ICallSoWhat ($7,400) played $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Hi. The table was “Pantheon” a 6 max table at Full Tilt. Also at the table but soon left was tsarrast.

This was an awesome table with David Benyamine and Durrr never afraid to go toe to toe in some high stakes hands. They did not disappoint with some huge hands worth $50k+.

One of the hands was worth $50,992 and both of the players had a Ten high flush. But Durrr had a 8d, 7d while Benyamine had 6d, 3d. A tough way to lose if you are David Benyamine.

Well David Benyamine didn’t wait long to reclaim his money and more. The largest hand of the table and one of the largest I have seen in awhile while watching Omaha Hi was played a couple hands later. David Benyamine won on the river with a five high straight against Durrr’s two pair that he hit on the flop. The hand worth $100,982!

The $100k hand pretty much wrapped up the table and a couple hands later all the players were sitting out. The chip count at this time was:

  • David Benyamine ($128,304.50)
  • durrrr ($7,648)
  • ICallSoWhat ($20,284)

Mike Matusow Plays HORSE

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Mike Matusow ($40,326) played $1000/$2000 HORSE against Markus Golser ($112,759.50), David Benyamine ($37,059.80) and howisitfeellike ($37,755.50), the game was played at the “Hatteras” table . Later in the game howisitfeellike and confused 1 here sat down and played.

There were a bunch of $20k+ plus hands and it was a pretty good high stakes HORSE game. One of the larger hands that was played was a hand between Benyamine and Markus Golser. David Benyamine ended up winning the $28,997 pot with three of a kind 2′s against a mucked Markus Golser hand.

Another large hand that Benyamine won was a hand with Matusow and Golser. Both of them lost with Golser mucking after 3rd street and Matusow 7th street. Benyamine raked the large pot worth $32,300.

The game soon broke up and the chip count was:

  • Confused 1 Here ($54,484), is sitting out
  • Markus Golser ($87,554), is sitting out

Benyamine, Mizrachi and Townshed Play Pot Limit Omaha

Friday, May 9th, 2008

David Benyamine ($62,527) Robert Mizrachi ($38,355), Brian Townsend ($39,294) played $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Hi at Full Tilt.com at the poker table “Ano”. Also playing at the poker table was CHUFTY ($8,000), Da Munsta ($46,813.50), howisitfeellike ($9,000).

There were a lot of hands that were over $25k which definitely made the game interesting. There was one large hand between Da Munsta and David Benyamine where the board showed [5h Th 9c 7d Ac]. Da Munsta had a jack high straight with a hand of [7h 8d Jd Ah]. Benyamine lost the hand with a 10 high straight…Tough loss especially since the pot was worth $102,012.

There were definitely some large hands and the average pot was $10k which is insane. They only had 79 H/hr which is less then usual but makes sense because of the large high stakes hands.

After watching 40+ hands here is the chip count:

  • CHUFTY ($21,382)
  • Da Munsta ($98,807), is sitting out
  • it is anna ($8,000)
  • Brian Townsend ($83,484.50)
  • David Benyamine ($47,193)
  • ICallSoWhat ($8,000)
