Gus Hansen, Brian Townsend Play Omaha Hi

Gus Hansen ($14,438), Brian Townsend ($17,988) & Urindanger, TheDonkeyNo1 and UgotaBanana played at fulltiltpoker.net.

Gus Hansen won a $6,298 hand against Ugotabanana after raising pre-flop to $500 and Ugotabanana calling the action. On the flop hansen bet $1200 which was called  along with the turn. On the river Gus Hansen bet another $1200 and this time Ugotabanana folded giving Gus Hansen the pot.

Gus Hansen then went on to win a $24,198. Pre flop it was raised by Ugotabanana to $500 and Gus Hansen made it $1000. He was called by both Ugotabanana as well as and Urindanger. After the flop Urindanger raised to $3200 and was quickly raised by Ugotabanana to $7000 which was called by all three players. Gus Hansen ended up winning the hand with a 6 high straight.

Some of the larger hands played at the table:

$73,182 won by Martonas with pocket 7′s against Durrr’s A9

$37,493 won by Phil Ivey after a bet of $15k getting OMGClayAiken to fold after the turn.

$39,399 won by OMGClayAiken after beating Phil Ivey in a showdown with AQ and had two pair (Aces and Queens)

$32,198 won by Phil Ivey against martonas after going all-in on the  river which would have cost martonas $29,979 more but he ended up folding.

$48,498 won by Durrrr after betting $13,400 on the turn with a flop of 10,2,10,A and OMGClayAiken folding.

$36,397 won by OMGClayAiken after re-raising Patrik Antonius’ bet of $11k to $92,293 and Antonius quickly folded the hand.

$140,697 won by Durrrr after betting $75k on the river after the pot was already $140k OMGClayAiken then folded with the board showing: 9s,9h,5c,2c and 10h.

$222,456 won by OMGClayAiken after going all-in against Durrrr who had 89 of diamonds with a board of qh,9c,6c,7c and qd. The call of OMGClayAiken must have been a hard one with Durrrr putting the pressure on the turn (making it seem like he had the flush) by raising $80k which was eventually called.

$306,842 won by OMGClayAiken against Phil Ivey. Phil Ivey had pocket aces against OMGClayAiken’s pocket 10′s. After only raising it $3k OMGClayAiken was able to see the flop and got trips easily beating Phil Ivey’s aces. The board was: 10h, Qd, 2h, 3s and 6c.

John Junada, CrazyMacro and Boosted J Play 7-Game Mix Poker

John Juanda ($14,198) played against Boosted J ($30,586) and CrazyMarco ($5,936) at the Char (6 Max) 7 Game mix game at Full Tilt.com. The blinds were $400/$800 and the average pot while I was watching the poker action was $2115.

Bigger Hands Won by John Juanda: $5,739.5 playing limit Razz. Boosted J folded after the last possible bet from John Juanda was $800 and there were no cards left to be dealt.

Crazy Marco Won the high and low and took the pot worth $6,399.

Boosted J then won the next hand worth $5,799 when they were playing Limit Omaha H/L.

The largest hand was won by CrazyMarco after going all-in against John Juanda. The pot was worth $18,299 and the game was PL Omaha Hi. John Juanda had a great starting hand with AA210 against 68Q10 but with a flop of 76675 junada’s aces were no match for the three of a kind 6′s.

One of the larger hands at the table was between Phil Ivey and Gus Hansen. Pre-flop Phil Ivey raised to $3k. The flop was [Ks Ah Qc] and Gus Hansen checked while Phil Ivey bet $4k and Gus Hansen then re-raised to $11k which Phil Ivey called. The turn was a [2d] and Gus Hansen bet $12k and Phil Ivey then went over the top and raised it to $64k which Gus Hansen called with $22,994 and was all-in. They both showed their cards and Phil Ivey showed [Jh Th] and Gus Hansen had [4c As]. The river was a [Kh] and Phil Ivey won the hand with an Ace high straight taking the pot worth  $97,985.

MR B 2 U SON ($106,511.50), Gus Hansen ($42,494), Urindanger ($68,906) and MagicNinja ($30,023) played at the $300/$600 Ante $100 Pot Limit Omaha Hi table. They played at the High Bluff table a 6 max, ante and deep table at Full Tilt.com.

Phil Ivey joined the table after about 10 hands of watching and sat down with $120,000.

One of the larger hands at the table was between  Urindanger and Gus Hansen. Urindanger called a $2,400 raise by Gus Hansen pre-flop. After the flop Gus Hansen bet $5,400 and Urindanger quickily re-raised all in with $24,689.50. At this point they both showed their cards and the Turn and River came down and Urindanger ended up winning the hand with Aces and Eights taking down the pot worth $54,778.

Another hand had Phil Ivey winning a huge hand against Gus Hansen. Phil Ivey raised pre-flop to $1,800 and Gus Hansen re-raised it to $5,600 which was called. The flop came down [4d 3h 7c] and Gus Hansen bet $6,600 and Phil Ivey thought for a bit and raised to $31,200, after taking some time Gus Hansen called going all-in. The turn and river was [ 8h] [Qh] respectively and Phil Ivey won the pot worth $65,396.50 with a eight high straight.

Gus Hansen Plays Heads Up Against Tom Dwan

Gus Hansen ($146,482) played against Tom “durrrr” Dwan ($54,999.50) at the Hansen Hangout. It is a heads up $500/$1000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi table at FullTiltPoker.net.

It was total domination for Gus Hansen. There were a lot of big hands including one where durrrr raised to $3k after the hold cards and was then re-raised to $9k by Gus Hansen. The flop came down [4d 9c 6c] and this time Gus Hansen bet $18k and Durrrr raised all-in to $42,999.50 which after taking some time Hansen called. They both showed their cards with durrrr showing [8c 9d Qd Ts] and Gus Hansen had [Jc 7h Jh 5c]. The turn was a [8h] and the river was [Qc]. Gus Hansen won the hand with a queen high flush while Durrrr lost the hand with his two pair. Gus Hansen raked in the pot worth $103,998.50.

Another large hand had Durrrr raising $18k after the flop of [4c 3c Jh] and Gus Hansen quickly raised Durrrr all-in for the rest of his stack. Durrrr called and they both showed their cards with Hansen showing [8c Js 8s Kc] while durrrr had [7h Qh Kh Jd]. The turn and river were [8h] [Ac] respectively and Gus Hansen won again with a flush this time Ace high against Durrr’s pair of jacks. Gus Hansen took the pot worth $95,605.

I was able to watch 33 hands of Gus Hansen domination. He ended up leaving the table with $362,274 while Durrr after rebuying numerous times sat with $59,998.25.

Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey, LarsLuzak and Trex313

Gus Hansen ($41,997), Phil Ivey ($106,985), LarsLuzak ($355,703.50), trex313 ($65,740) and luckexpress10 ($19,489) played at the Hansen Blender a $500/$1000 HA table. Lots of the pros have been playing at the table seems like HA is the game players are gravitating towards.

One of the highlight hands at the table was between Gus Hansen and LarsLuzak. Gus Hansen raised to $3,000 pre-flop and was then re-raised to $13,000 by LarsLuzak….after waiting for a bit Gus Hansen then went over the top to $43,000 and LarsLuzak then not flinching raised again to $73k which put Gus Hansen all-in. They both flipped over their cards and LarsLuzak showed [Kh Ac] while Gus Hansen showed [Jc Js]. The board was [2h As Ad 7c] [Qh]…LarsLuzak hit his Ace twice on the flop and won with three of a kind aces taking the $105,985 pot.

Another large hand was between Phil Ivey, trex313 and Gus Hansen. Pre-flop Phil Ivey raised to $3,000 and trex313 and Gus Hansen both called. The flop of [5d 9s 8c] and trex313 checked and Gus Hansen bet $3k, Phil Ivey folded and trex313 called $3k. The turn of [9h] came down and trex313 checked while Gus Hansen bet $12k which after a bit of time trex313 raised to $38,733.50 going all-in which Gus Hansen called. At this time they both showed their cards and trex313 had [4s 5h 8s 8h] while Gus Hansen showed [6d Kh 7d 5c]. The river was a [3h] and trex313 had a full house, Eights full of Nines and beat Gus Hansen’s Nine high straight taking the pot worth $92,467.

Gus Hansen ($42,297), durrrr ($46,496.50), LarsLuzak ($61,198), Phil Ivey ($85,500) and OnTheRize ($26,500). They played at the Ivey Gardens a $500/$1000 HA game at FullTiltPoker.net.

One of the larger hands had Gus Hansen raising to $3,500 which durrrr ended up calling pre-flop. On the flop of [Js 8c Kd] both players checked, after the turn of [4h] durrrr bet $5,800 which Gus Hansen called. The river of [5h] came down and Durrrr bet $15,600 after a bit of thinking Gus Hansen raised all-in with his last $49,392.50. Durrrr then folded the hand and Gus Hansen won the pot worth $50,798.

Another hand at the table was between Gus Hansen and durrrr. After durrrr raised pre-flop to $12,000 Gus Hansen was the only player to call. The flop came down [Js 9d 4d] and both players took their time but ended up checking. The turn of [3h] and Gus Hansen then bet $27,000 and durrrr then raised to $108,000 dollars which Gus Hansen called with his last $25,676.50. They both flipped over their cards and durrrr showed [As Ac] while Gus Hansen showed [3c 4c]. The river was a [3d] which improved Gus Hansen’s hand giving him a full house three’s full of fours and won the port worth $132,351.

The largest hand was between Phil Ivey and durrrrr. After the hole cards were dealt durrrr raised to $13k and Phil Ivey called. The flop of [3c Jc 9d] ca,e down and after a bit of time durrrr bet $21,600 and Phil Ivey quickly went all-in with $91,189….durrrr called the raise and showed a hand of [Ad 2d Tc Kc] while Phil Ivey showed [3h 4s 4d 3d]. The turn was [5s] and a river of [Ts]. Phil Ivey’s hand held up and won the pot worth $212,376 with trip threes.

Phil Ivey ($82,792) played against durrrr ($477,974.50) at the Ivey Mix HA table at Full Tilt.com. The blinds at the table were $500/$1000. They were also playing at the Ivey Thunderdome with blinds of $500/$1000 and the game was Pot Limit Omaha Hi.

This report is on the Ivey Mix table mainly because I was watching both but reporting on a $253k hand was to much to pass up. The hand was Pot Limit Hold-em and Phil Ivey raised to $3k which durrrr called. The flop was [Td 3s 4s] and durrrr checked while Phil Ivey bet $4k which durrrr then raised to $13,300 which Ivey called. The turn was a [Ts] and after a bit of thinking durrrr bet $23,600 which Ivey then raised to $74,000 which didn’t take long before durrrr raised all-in….which cost Phil Ivey an additional $36,385.50 to call as he went all-in (and was the smaller stack). At this time durrrr showed [Tc Ac] while Phil Ivey had the flush with [8s Js]. The river was a [Qh] not improving either hand and Phil Ivey took down the monster pot worth $253,370.50.

A few hands later they had another large hand with Ivey raising to $3k pre-flop and durrrr re-raising to $9k which Phil Ivey called. The flop was [Js Th 8h] and durrrr bet $11.4k which Ivey called. The turn was a [5d] and durrrr waited and then bet $31,200 which Ivey called. The river was [2h] and durrrr checked which Ivey followed suit. Durrrr showed a straight while Phil Ivey showed a ten high flush and took the pot worth $103,199.50.

At the end of about 80 hands the chip counts were:
